DRAG RACING
Drag Racing is back at Northern Nats, and it is the perfect opportunity for entrants to make their mark down the strip! Expect explosive launches, razor-close finishes and drivers pushing their machines to the edge as they fight for early points and bragging rights. Every pass counts. Every second matters.
POWERSKIDS
Powerskids returns to Northern Nats with a heap of street, drag and burnout weapons getting in on the action. Watch entrants put on a show for the crowd, burn rubber and set some of that horsepower free!
ROLL RACING
When you’re holding a weekend-long car festival at one of the country’s best drag racing facilities, you know full well that you’re going to go racing! Expect pre-approved, high-performance machines lining up in the staging lanes, launching into clean, controlled head-to-head runs that showcase pure acceleration and street-built power.
SUPERCRUISE & SKID ROW
A real ‘Nats staple. Stand trackside as entrants cruise through and send it hard, tyres screaming and smoke rolling across the fence line. It’s controlled chaos, tough builds, big V8s, turbo setups and drivers who know how to work a crowd. Just cars doing what they were built to do, metres from where you’re standing.
NORTHERN NATS 10 CHAMPION
The Northern Nats 10 Champion represents the best of the best. This title is awarded to the standout vehicle that dominates both presentation and performance. It celebrates the rare build that turns heads in the Show ’n’ Shine and commands respect on the strip. Only one will claim the crown.
CRUISING
Northern Nats cruising action keeps the energy levels pumping all weekend long. As the action takes place at Springmount Raceway, vehicles cruise down the streets, creating a living display of power and engineering. Whether it is a show car or a street machine, this is your opportunity to get up close and personal with the action, to hear it, see it and feel it.

The Show 'n' Shine at Northern Nats is a must! From burnout cars to meticulously detailed show cars and everything in between, this is the time to get up close. Admire the passion and work of these car owners and lovers and ask questions for your next project. It’s not just a display, it’s a celebration of everything that makes this car scene unique.

After three action-packed days at Northern Nats, the weekend wraps up with the official Awards Presentation. Join us as we celebrate the standout builds, top performances and crowd favourites from across the festival. Entrants in judged categories will take the stage to receive their trophies and prize money, marking the culmination of an unforgettable weekend.
